Brightstar nodded in greeting. "Hello, Lichenstar," she meowed.
Rubyheart followed the rest of her Clan into the clearing. She sat alone, staring at the leaders with cold eyes.

(Wait, so now the deputy is going to be giving the Clan news? If not, I'll just edit this post later.)
Pigeonstar moved to make room for Rainpelt, wondering why Lichenstar himself wasn't joining them. "It's good to see you well, Lichenstar," he called down softly to the other tom. He then glanced at the grey and white she-cat. "I hope you and all of HillClan are well..."
Lightfoot, who had jumped when HillClan had come out of the bushes, settled down a little behind Pumaheart, so her ears rested against the other she-cat's leg. "Shh..." she whispered unnecessarily.

Pumaheart looked around. "Don't shush me!" She smiled and flicked her tail at Lightfoot.
(I guess Rainpelt should, since Whir really hasn't been online lately)
"Hello Pigeonstar. I am good, and so is our Clan," Rainpelt meowed.
Seeing that none of the other leaders had objected, Hollystar yowled and the Gathering began. "I would like to say that all of WaterClan is well. We now have a new deputy, and our kits are going to be apprentices in a few moons. We are thriving and well and I expect that we will be strong through the cold moons that lie ahead." Hollystar stepped back to show that she was done.

Pigeonstar took a step forward, then looked back. "Nobody minds if I go, yes?"

"Sure, just go," Hollystar meowed. She was starting to get a little tired.

Brightstar nodded. "Fine with me," she muttered.

(Hello? Why can't you guys just wait? Besides I know you both [Inky & Holly] have my phone# somewhere. Cuz I know I have given it to U guys before. Call me if U want me online.) (I am going back a few posts because I, I object.) Lichenstar jumped up onto the Greatrock. "So sorry I'm late. You may begin."

(Noooo, Whir, I USED to have it. It probably got recycled or something. *sighs* My family recycles a lot of my stuff...One time they threw away my homework. And you DID kind of say that the deputy was in charge at your last post.)
Not without sending a disapproving glance at Hollystar, GrassClan's leader stated his news. "Nothing out of ordinary," he commented, "though we are thankful that we should soon have our own batch of kits to look after. It'll be harder, is LeafBare coming, but we are more than capable." He stepped back, watching the other two leaders.

"Go ahead." Lichenstar murmered. He was still thinking of what to say.
(Inky, I was saying that the deputy held back the others while Lichenstar was lost in a trance. Wouldn't it be weird if the clan went to the gathering without a leader and a med.cat and a deputy? They had to protect him in his trance.)

"Alright, then." Brightstar stepped forward. "All is well in TreeClan. The prey is running well for leaf-fall, and we are preparing for leafbare." She stepped back, and glanced at Lichenstar.

Rainpelt looked expectantly at her leader.
Pumaheart laid and watched the leaders intently. They sure are making shorter and shorter speeches. Back in my day, it took forever for one leader to finish what they had to say, she thought.

Mistypaw watched the leaders. Are Gatherings always this short? she wondered. She was going to ask one of the warriors, but she decided not to.
Rubyheart sat where she was, glaring at the ground. She vaguely paid attention to the leaders, but she didn't care what they had to say. Who cares what they have to say... she thought, her claws digging into the earth beneath her paws.

Birdpaw was glad that the Gathering was going so quickly; after such a long wait, he was really tired and wanted to get back to camp. If he would ever sit in one place for even a little while and he was tired, he would eventually fall asleep right where he was. He was starting to drift away a little bit.

Stepping forward, Lichenstar spoke up,"Hillclan is doing well and all of our warriors are prospering. We are doing so well, in fact, that I doubt we will have any trouble in leafbare." He said thankfully, turning around. "Everyone done?"
(if everyone is done, he brought the gathering to an end after that. If not, that person can do it.)

Pigeonstar shok his head and hopped to the ground, looking around and gathering his warriors with a flick of your tail. "Say your goodbyes, everyone!"
Lightfoot looked disappointed. She really had anted to discuss more with Pumaheart, Birdpaw, and Mistypaw. "All could things must come to an end," she sighed.
(I hope I didn't bring anyone else. XD)

"See you at the next Gathering Pigeonstar!" Hollystar called after the older leader. "You too Lichenstar, Brightstar," she meowed and dipped her head to each of them as she said their names.
"Good bye Lightfoot; hope to see you at the next Gathering!" Pumaheart meowed after Lightfoot. She got up and whinced at getting up. "Ohhh, I'm not as young as I used to," she muttered. She quickly went to find the rest of the GrassClan cats, but remembered to meow over her shoulder,"Good bye Birdpaw!"
"Bye Pumaheart! See you later! Bye Lightfoot!" Birdpaw turned to Mistypaw. "Good bye Mistypaw. Hope to see you soon." With that Birdpaw glided over to Hollystar and the rest of the WaterClan cats.
