Limepaw and Lemonpaw both padded through the grass to the gathering. Lemonpaw paused to smell the air. "GrassClan must be the first to survive. I don't smell any of the other clans."
"Yes. This is so exciting! I love meeting cats from the other clans, don't you?" Limepaw asked. She paused to bite a peice of grass that was tickling her flank. She sometimes had the habit of doing that when she was excited.

Yarrowfang walked alongside his fellow Grassclanners to Fourstreams. Things have been very strange since Pigeonstar's dream about Riverpaw. Is there something he's not telling us?? Mehh, I shouldn't be too worried about it... He realized he was a little behind due to his thinking and jogged a little to catch up.

Eagerness pricked at Shadowpelt/Gingerstar's fur. It felt great to go to a gathering again. She remembered her apprentice days and how fun it was to meet cats from other clans...
This time it was a bit different, what with being a leader and all...
Shadowpelt/Gingerstar led her former clan over and around the hills of Hillclan territory. She panted a little. I clearly don't have as much stamina as I once did in my youth. Curse those badgers for ending my life so quickly so I couldn't raise its level even a little...(Read her backstory for the tidbit about the badger if you're interested.) Some more time passed, and Fourstreams was in sight. She saw Pigeonstar and some other Grassclanners there. I hope if Crookedtears had good fortune with stealing Pigeonstar's body...

Arcticfeather led the cats of WoodClan- her Clan, sort of- towards Fourstreams.
It was interesting, leading a Clan. She had often helped Foxstar lead the Clan- not as a deputy, of course, but as something else, sort of like a wise cat. But to actually lead a Clan...
Interesting.
But it was nice to be able to live again, even if she had to steal Brightstar's body to live in. It didn't matter so much, though, when she got to feel the wind and the sunshine and the rain....
Shaking the thoughts from her head, she wondered if Crookedtears, Shadowpelt, and Snowstar had suceeded in their possessions. And more importantly, how would she find out?
She could drop hidden codes, but that would be weird if the possessions hadn't worked. It was a tricky problem. She had never liked problems. Problems were obstacles, and they got in the way.
Shaking her head slightly, Arcticfeather leapt over the stream into Fourstreams. She bounded over to Greatrock, and jumped onto it, as she had seen Foxstar do so many times.
It was high up here, on the Greatrock. She could see the whole clearing, every cat that was there. It was exciting, very exciting.
She stared at a tree opposite her, and wondered what to say to the other leaders.

Mistypaw followed Pigeonstar over the stream and into Fourstreams. Cats were already mingling in the clearing.
A quick scent check told her that WaterClan wasn't there yet. Her tail drooped. She raised her head again, looking for any of her other friends. Arcticfeather turned her head towards Pigeonstar- or was it Crookedtears?
"Hello, Pigeonstar." Her tone was friendly, but she stressed the Pigeonstar part.
The reasoning behind her stressing the leader's name was that maybe Crookedtears- if it was Crookedtears- would pick up on it, and figure out that she was stressing Pigeonstar because she wanted to know if it was Pigeonstar.[/blockquote]

At a nudge from the tom, Lightfoot realized she was rambling and cut off. Smiling, again, she purred, "This is Thistlesilk! He's another warrior from my Clan, but he's older than me..."Thistlesilk nodded politely, looking a little anxious. "He doesn't do well with other cats," the she-cat explained in a low whisper.[/ul] (Blehh, no time to reply with Pigeonstar. Go on with life, m'dears! <3)

she purred in the leader's low voice, whiskers twitching sarcastically. "Any...erm...news recently...Brightstar?"Crookedtears glanced at Gingerstar--if it was, indeed, Gingerstar. It could very well be Shadowpelt. She wouldn't know until she reveiled herself. However, she was fairly certain Arcticfeather had completed her mission. Now all they had to do was wait for Snowstar to arrive... Featherpaw had followed into the area after Gingerstar, following blindly after a DemonClan cat. She glanced around, a little nervous. It was her first Gathering, and her mentor wasn't even with her for support... Sighing, the she-cat stood, uncomfortably alone, in a spot that seemed to invite cats to come talk to her.[/ul]

((Clearly we haven't thought this through. How about the sign that the DemonClan possessors have indeed possessed the leader will be that they will... purr for no reason? And then growl?)) always used to be late. She carefully twisted and weaved through the cats and sprung up to the Great Rock. Snowstar nodded to the leaders already there. "Nice to see you all again." Birdwing bounded into the clearing and looked around. He sniffed the air. Everyone should be here now... Then Mistypaw's fur caught his eye and he raced over to her. "Hi! What's new with you?"Pumaheart laid down in the long, cool grass, alone.[/ul]

Arcticfeather twitched her whiskers, and said to Hollystar- though it could, in fact, be Snowstar- "It's nice to see you to, Hollystar." The white she-cat smiled slightly.
"Birdwing!" The silver-grey she cat purred. "Eh, nothing much is new. Anything new with you?" Mistypaw paused, and sat down. Turning to Lightfoot, she added, "It's still Mistypaw. Maybe by the next Gathering it will have changed... But! It's nice to meet you, Thistlesilk!" She dipped her head in greeting.
Windpaw leapt over the stream, excitement flooding through him. Fourstreams really did look amazing at a Gathering, with cats from all the Clans there and the moonlight turning everything silver...
"Are you going to stand there all night, or are you going to keep walking?" The sharp voice belonged to Flowerpaw. She pushed past her brother, and stopped. "This... this... this place is amazing!"
Windpaw smirked. "And suddenly, she's not in a rush anymore."
The ginger she-cat scowled at her brother. "Oh, stop being such a... fox-head, will you? Now, let's go!" Flowerpaw glanced around, and started off towards the first cat that she saw that looked like an apprentice of a similar age as her. "Hi! I'm Flowerpaw- what's your name?"
((By the way, Flowerpaw's talking to Featherpaw. And "fox-head" is her new insult. It means something along the lines of "idiot".))

she purred lightly. Then, as she noticed Birdwing, she brightened a little and flicked the WaterClan tom with her tail. "It's good to see you again!"Thistlesilk watched his female friend for a while, blinking slowly as she greeted Birdwing. He switched his brown gaze to the tom and nodded, expression as blank as ever. It wasn't as if he was mute, or anything. He just didn't like talking. The apprentice jumped at Flowerpaw's approach, but greeted her happily with a nod of her head. "Hi! I'm Featherpaw--from HillClan!"Another cat--a black she-cat--began to make her way over to the apprentices, but stopped as she noticed Birdwing go over to a group of cats from other Clans. She was about to snort in disgust and follow Flowerpaw, until she noticed the silver warrior talking. "Lightfoot!" she exclaimed, blinking in surprise. Lightfoot turned around, and purred in delight. "Twilightsong!" She hopped over to nuzzle her friend, then brought her over. "Everyone--except Birdwing, of course--this is Twilightsong."Sandhorse followed his apprentice in, enjoying the look of wonder than overcame the other tom. "Told you it was better with lots of cats..." he purred. "Pigeonstar" glanced over at Snowstar, who hadn't replied to Arcticfeather's greeting. "Hello...Hollystar," she said carefully.[/ul] (If I forgot anyone, or you guys would like me to bring anyone...tell me? XD)

((Actually, Snowstar just got there, so she wasn't there to hear Arcticfeather's greeting. And I'll just assume that purring for no reason followed by a growl for no reason will be the signal?)) she purred and swept her tail over the rock's surface. She nodded to the other leaders. Without warning a small growl rose deep in her throat. Birdwing just smiled to Lightfoot, then his eyes grew wide. "Wait, there is something new! I can't believe I forgot! I got an apprentice!"[/ul]

The white she-cat smiled slightly.
I rest my case.)) ((Annnnd....Sorry, no offense, but...That's kind of a stupid way to indicate. They never discussed it, so I think they should just tip-toe around the subject until they're sure.)) But inside, a nagging feeling was beginning to make her worry. I haven't even got an apprentice yet...And I'm way older than he is... She pushed these thoughts aside and replaced them with a smile. "Must be great. What's it like?"Her friend rolled her eyes. "He's going to be insufferable..." she muttered, but shut up at a nudge from Lightfoot. Crookedtears flicked her ears in confusion. First of all, this cat--whether Hollystar or her sister--hadn't responded correctly to her greeting. If she'd said that to Arcticfeather it would have made sense... "Anything...new?" she asked, concerned only because it might be the DemonClan she-cat.[/ul]

Arcticfeather raised an eyebrow at Holly or Snowstar's comment, but didn't comment on it. She just sat there, fluffy white tail wrapped around her paws. Whoever the WaterClan cat was, she was a little bit... odd tonight. After all, replying to Crookedtears instead of her when she had greeted her was a bit... strange. Flowerpaw sat down next to Featherpaw. "I'm Flowerpaw, of WaterClan, and this is my brother, Windpaw."The tom frowned. "I can speak for myself, you know," he growled. She shrugged it off. "It's nice to meet you, Featherpaw."Mistypaw twitched her tail tip with happiness. "Wow, Birdwing! An apprentice! Who's your apprentice?"[/blockquote]

(Sorry I joined so late...) Ghostheart picked his way through the crowded clearing choosing to sit down by a group of apprentices.(Flowerpaw, WindPaw, and Featherpaw.) He looked up at the leaders for a moment and then looked at the apprentices. "Hello there young warriors." he dipped his head politely. "Is this your first gathering?"
Ravenwing followed Lightfoot and Thistlesilk over to a group of cats she vaguely remembered from the last gathering. "Hello, Birdwing?" She curled her tail over her small black paws.

"Yes," Flowerpaw said. "It's so exciting!" She flicked one of her ears, a movement that was of excitement for the apprentice.
Windpaw flicked his tail. "There's so many cats..." he added.
Mistypaw glanced at the black she-cat who had joined them, and nodded a hello. Her amber eyes were as unreadable as her expression.

should be the ones politely dipping their heads! At this thought, Featherpaw did just that, appearing flustered as she did so. "Yes, it is! I mean, for me as well...Erm...I'm Featherpaw. And you are...?" As an afterthought, she quickly added, "I'm, er, from HillClan."[/ul]

Limepaw and Lemonpaw had arrived with Grassclan. Until now, they had stood on the edge of the clearing and observed. Limepaw spoke up, "Well, I think I will go and meet that big group of cats over there. Coming?"
Lemonpaw looked blankly at her. "...Uh...No..."
"Come on! It'll be fun! And don't worry, I'll talk for you." Limepaw insisted.
Lemonpaw frowned, but followed Limepaw out to the large group of cats. (Birdwing, Mistypaw, Lightfoot, etc.)
"Hi, I'm Limepaw. I am the medicine cat apprentice of Grassclan. This is my brother Lemonpaw." She motioned to Lemonpaw with her tail.
