Snowstar awoke in her nest and thought one thing: DemonClan. That is the Clan that she now lived. She reluctantly got up and crept out of the den into the silent clearing. It was dark, for it was always dark. Snowstar yawned, though not a yawn that would show weakness. Then she thought another thing: Hollystar. Hollystar was her sister. The cat she wanted revenge on the most, even though she hated the Clan Hollystar led too.

His head swiveled slowly. "Thoughts..." Witheredstar hissed, gliding smoothly, as if flying, down from the high mountain. A ginger she-cat melted out of the dark forest as he made his way back to the makeshift camp the DemonClan cats had built under his command. After a few seconds of silence, the she-cat muttered, "Agreed." and slithered back out.
No need for food here, no need for sleep here. Only determination. To kill.
Witheredstar seemed to fall a long ways, though it was really just the speed of the fall. Slow motion was his curse, here. He'd always been swift, quick tempered. And now there was this...sluggish movement.
Grass. There was suddenly lots of grass...
...And there he was, bounding through the grass with a ginger and white she-cat. They were laughing, and it was special. No one else could see them laugh, only them...No one else knew they could laugh.
"Raccoontail!" called the she-cat, who was now much farther ahead than him. He rushed up the hill, a secret smile upon his face. Gingerpetal was his, and his alone...
A dull thud that resonated through to his whiskers brought him back, and he stood still for a moment before staggering forward.
"Thoughts," the Head Cat growled again.

(Was he asleep? And if so, how could there be no need to sleep if Witheredstar was asleep and so was Snowstar?)
Snowstar slunked over to the Deadledge. Witheredstar's den was beneath it. Snowstar's fur was ruffled, but she didn't care. Every morning Snowstar looked into the Black Pool. She always looked down and watched Hollystar and the rest of her Clan. Sometimes she checked up on the other Clans, but usually she always spied on Hollystar, and watched her every move. What Snowstar liked to do was secretly tally up in her mind every fault Hollystar made. Every reason why she was more fit to rule WaterClan than Hollystar. Snowstar looked down into the Black Pool. At first it looked like just black water, as if ink had been spilled into it, but it slowly changed into an image. An image of what Snowstar wanted to see. It was an image of Hollystar in the WaterClan camp. She was talking to some of her warriors, most likely telling them what to do. Snowstar hissed at the pool.

(I'm guess that dead cats don't NEED sleep, but they can go into a kind of trance-thing. Also, if they choose to, they can go into a mock sleep. And Witheredstar was merely remembering. In my mind, there are these things called "Thoughts", and they're kind of like a curse from StarClan. Thoughts make you remember things you don't really want to. It can be anything. And if you get too deep into your thoughts, you start forgetting where you are, and your spirit kind of "dies" again. You would really exist, you'd be an empty shell. Witheredstar was on a mountain, jumped down, and started walking. Then, as he enter the camp, he dropped down on another ledge and a Thought corrupted him for a few second. He kind of...froze, but then landed and was brought out of the Thought. Get it? And for the "agreed" thing, Witheredstar and Crookedtears have a mental connection, only given to those cats whom you trust the most.)
The she-cat slunk into her mate's den, cursing everything. Cursing StarClan, cursing Thoughts, cursing the other DemonClan cats here...All except for Witheredstar. She even cursed herself. She'd pushed Witheredstar to become what he was...
Crookedtears hissed and claws at the air. "Leave me alone!" she spat in a raspy voice, her mind coming back to her. She had done nothing.
Witheredstar lurked near the Deadledge, watching Snowstar as the she-cat bent over and hissed at the Black Pool. "Anything interesting?" he hissed sarcastically.

Snowstar looked up at Witheredstar and sat up straight. "I just can't believe how my sister was good enough to be the leader of WaterClan and that I wasn't," Snowstar growled. "Just look at all of the mistakes she's making! If I were leader, I would have brought greatness to WaterClan." Snowstar paused for a moment, remembering how Witheredstar had belonged to a different Clan during life, and that he might be hostile with WaterClan.
(What's with the "agreed" thing?)

(Um...I explained it, but I'll explain it again. In my first post, Crookedtears says "Agreed" even though they had both been silent for most of their journey. When they died, Crookedtears and Witheredstar formed a "connection" to each other's minds. They can know everything that the other is thinking, whether the other one wants them to know or not. Only dead cats can form this connection, and you should only give it to the cats you trust most. Like, Withered and Crooked were mates during life, so they wanted to be "one". See?)
A small smile crept onto Witheredstar's face--an incredibly creepy smile. "Indeed, Snowstar. It's a shame our lives did not cross in time until we met here. You would have been a formidable opponent for GrassClan, though, of course, you are headstrong and would likely have lost." He did not seem to care that he had just insulted the she-cat. It was true, in his opinion, and he took no guilt or pleasure in pointing it out. The minuscule tom crept quietly up to the inky waters and dipped a claw in it. Almost immediately, the scene shifted from WaterClan to GrassClan. "Now see here, this cat could have been great. It's a shame they banished him when he avenged that apprentice," Witheredstar said thoughtfully, eyes narrowing at the waters. "Pigeonstar...Even his name sounds weak..."

(Pigeonstar was banished?)
"Yes. Cats eat pigeons," Snowstar pointed out. Every day she felt like telling Witheredstar something, but today she actually told him. "Would you agree if we..." Snowstar thought for a moment.
(Just so you know, she's thinking of jumping into the pool and taking over the Clans)

(Um...read his profile, I dun feel like explaining it. X.x) (LOLZ, cats eat pigeons. I love Snowstar for that. XD) He looked expectantly at the white she-cat, flicking his ears in annoyance. "I would prefer it, Snowstar, that you finish your sentences while you still have a mind. I'm not a mind reader." A pause, and then, "...Most of the time." (LOLZ...this is getting silly. I'm in a silly mood. )

"Well... Would you agree if we finally had revenge on the Clans?" Snowstar asked.

Witheredstar raised an eyebrow. "And how do you propose we do this, Snowstar? In case you haven't noticed, we're dead."

"Well, the Black Pool," Snowstar mewed, turning her nose towards to pool. "You know how when a cat dies and comes to DemonClan, it jumps up out of the pool? Well, if you jump into the pool, you go back to the world of the Clans, only in a ghostly form."
(Cats have eyebrows? And if you didn't know, when cats die they jump out of the pool as if they had been hiding under the water into the world of StarClan or DemonClan.)

Cinderheart appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, but really from the shadows where he had been lurking. "And why do you think that would work?" he asked coldly. "Dead cats come here because they are dead." He went to join them by the Black Pool. His gaze fixed on the surface, as if searching it for its secrets. "Unless you know some way to use the Black Pool to our advantage..." Cinderheart trailed off, clearly waiting for a response.

"I just explained how it could be used!" Snowstar growled angrily at Cinderheart. She flicked her tail impatiently.

(A cat has whiskers on its eyebrows, so it has eyebrows. XD)
Witheredstar had gone back to staring at the Black Pool. "Snowstar, would you mind telling me how you came across this knowledge? Cinderheart makes a good point, and you idea seems near-impossible." He curled his silver tail, continuing to think.
"It will work," murmured the ginger she-cat as she padded out of the den. "'If your will is strong enough, you can jump into the Life Pool and walk through the Clans once more, though you will be barely more than a ghost.' It's an elders' tale of StarClan. Why should it be any different with the Black Pool?"

(You called it the Life Pool! It's the Black Pool)
Snowstar paid no attention to the ginger she-cat. "I have had dreams, and with my knowledge of that when a cat dies, they jump up out of the pool, I have come up with a conclusion that if you were to jump into the pool, you will enter the world of the Clans."

"That's not much knowledge to work on," Cinderheart growled, "but it does make a little sense. Not much, though." He stared into the Black Pool. "Anyways, StarClan would know as soon as we left through the Black Pool. They'd use their Life Pool find out where we were and send out some warriors to dispatch us." Cinderheart stopped, waiting for Snowstar to talk.

Snowstar thought, and then added,"But now that we're dead, we will be unbeatable. And..." Snowstar rethought what she was going to say and then added,"And if we go into the bodies of the leaders StarClan won't detect a single mysterious detail."

(HOLLY!! Reread my freakin' post! Crooked comes out, tells a tale (mentioning the Life Pool), and says that was an elder's tale about STARCLAN. Then she suggests that the same is true for DEMONCLAN and the Black Pool. READ, YOU MOUSEBRAIN. I'm sick of having to correct you and explain things...)
"Except for the obvious fact that the leaders will be evil," muttered Crookedtears bitterly. Perhaps Snowstar was ignorant of the elders' stories... Modern day Clans were so mousebrained...
//Her reason is more logical, Crookedtears// soothed Witheredstar, who was now used to his mate's jealousy of Snowstar. //You still speak of a kit's fantasies.// He went back to staring at the waters, continuing to think quietly.
"Possession is plausible," grudgingly agreed the Wise Cat, curling her tail around her smaller mate.

Snowstar smiled an evil smile. "Even though I haven't been here that long, the past few years have been torture for me. I have always wanted to get back at my sister, and her stupid little Clan." Snowstar's ears twitched and she meowed,"I will go. I know every little detail about Hollystar. I will know how to defeat her."
