Bobo bounced up and down. "Meow?" Mary looked at him. "I don't think I can take you today." "Meow?" She ignored him this time. "Meow?" She looked at him once more. "What?" "Meow." Mary sighed and smiled. "Ooooh, alright!" Bobo was thrilled. Mary was going Christmas shopping. He knew that she might but then again might not pick out his Chirstmas gifts. He loved Christmas time. He didn't want to go anywhere because she might forget to take him along. Mary walked over to the kitchen and grabbed her purse. "Already Bobo?" "Meow!" He ran out the door which led into the garage. He stopped at the door of the car Mary always got in. She opened the door and he jumped in. When she was in, she said,"I swear Bobo, it's like you know what I'm saying!" Bobo smiled his cat smile and looked out the window as they began their trip to the mall.

Mary pulled up and looked at Bobo. "Meow." She smiled. "What am I gonna do? I can't leave you out here; who knows what you'll get yourself into. Do you think you'll behave if I take you in with me?" Bobo looked at her with big eyes. "Meooow." "Alright," Mary said and opened the door of her side, got out, and held out her arms. Bobo jumped into them. "Do you think you'll be alright in my bag?" Bobo sighed silently. "Meow." Mary got out her big fabric bag and he got in it. "Let's go," she said as she closed the car door... Bobo stayed hidden in the bag, even though pets were allowed here. Only when they were inside did he poke his head out from the bag. There were two very big halls leading away from where they were. There was a big Christmas tree down the hall to the right, where the center of the mall was. There were lights and wreathes everywhere. Pretty red bows covered the railings of the second floor. The second floor's ceiling was made of glass, so there really wasn't any need for lighting in the halls on the second floor during the day. "Wow," he meowed. Mary heard him, but to her it sounded like,"Meow." A beautiful smell wafted from the hall to the left. The food court. All kinds of foods were found there. It was his second favorite place at the mall. Then he saw his favorite place at the mall. The escalators. They were his favorite thing. Runing up and down them was fun. The were straight ahead and they led to the second floor. Behind the escalators was the elevator. Bobo liked that too. Bobo then remembered his third favorite place. It was the Pet Store on the second floor. Mary started walking in the direction of the Beauty Shop, always her favorite place to be. "Meow?" Mary looked down at him. "Do you know where I'm going to be?" Bobo gave a short nod. She giggled and said,"Okay, but don't get lost now." She lowered the bag so Bobo could get out. He jumped out and looked up at her, rubbing against her legs. Mary giggled again and said,"Okay then. Just stay safe and don't get lost." She walked across the glassy floor, her heels clicking against the surface. Bobo looked around. What would he do today? Of course the first thing he wanted to do was go up and down the elevator a few times, and then the same with the escalators. He saw a few people he reconised in the elevator. When he was alone, he reached up and hit the button that had a 1 on it. Down he went and the doors opened. Someone that had been waiting for the elevator gasped at the sight of a cat operating an elevator. Bobo shot out of there and came to the escalators. He put a paw out onto the moving stairs. It carried his whole body up and up and up and up and up. When he got to the top he jumped of and put his paw on the stairs going down. Down, down, down he went. He continued to do this until a big crowd of people decided that they wanted to go down. Bobo was now on the top floor. He decided to visit the food court, because the food court was on the first and second floor...

"Hey! Bobo!" It was Pablo. He was a fat man that had a weird accent, was bald, and had a black mustache that curled at the ends. He leaned across the counter of his Spaghetti Shop and said,"Hey Bobo: How would you like to come over to my Spaghetti Shop and have a taste of my new meat that will go on some new dishes of spaghetti?" "Meow!" Bobo liked Pablo, and he guessed Pablo liked him. "Howa `bout you come over and try some. I have some cooling in da back." He winked and waddled away. Bobo jumped up to the counter and down the other side. He trotted after Pablo, who was bent over picking up something. "Aha!" he shouted as he got back up. He groaned with the effort and turned to Bobo. "The Chef's specialty! Eat up!" He placed a bowl in front Bobo that was filled with red meat. Of course it really wasn't red; there were sauces and spices in it that gave it color. Bobo licked it cautiously, aware that sometimes Pablo's latest inventions were a little too spicy. It was delicious. Bobo was like Pablo's tester; whenever he made a new recipe, he would try it out on Bobo to see if he liked it. He always said that cats have the best taste in foods. If Bobo likes it, he sells it. If Bobo comes begging for water or just walks away, it's back to the drawing board. When the last of the meat was gone, Pablo came back and said,"By Golly George! He likes it!" Pablo picked up the plate and placed it in the sink. "Is it so spicy you need water?" he asked. Bobo shook his head. "Brilliant!" All of the people that knew Bobo and were somewhat a child at heart thought that Bobo understood every word they said. When Bobo did human things, like nodding and shaking his head or things like that, or even listened to what they said, it just added to their theory. "Well, do you still want some water?" Bobo nodded. Pablo walked over to the refreshment center in by the counter, in the view of costumers, and came back with some soda. "Well, this isn't water, but how do you like it anyways?" Bobo slirped it down. "Meow!" "You like it?!" Bobo nodded. "My pink slippers he likes it!" Pablo picked up the bowl, put it away, and came back to say,"I really don't wear pink slippers though." He smiled and turned to his costumers. Sure you don't, Bobo thought. He trotted out of the kitchen and jumped up and over the counter. "Good bye Bobo!" Pablo shouted after him, although his costumer looked at him as though he was crazy...

Bobo padded past the Tacoria, a place with all Mexicans and lettuce, and stopped at Burgermania. A skiny, black haired man with the name of Maney owned this place. Bobo jumped up and over the counter and searched for him. Maney was in the back, doing what a new employee should have been doing; folding boxes for take out orders. "Meow!" Bobo jumped and down. "OOO! Hello Bobo!" Now this guy had somewhat of a Spanish accent, even though he was American. He must have picked up that accent from talking to so many tacos. Maney really liked to talk to food, and Bobo wasn't quite sure why. Perhaps it was because he had no human friends. "You know what? I'm sorry, but I have nothing for you today. Come back another time though!" Bobo hung his head low, but not for long. He was out of there in a flash.

Bobo ran over to the pet shop. Darn! It was closed. "Bobo!" Bobo swung around and saw Mary standing over by the escalator. "Come on! We gotta go!" He ran over and followed her down the escalator. When they were both on the 1st floor he jumped into her bag. As she walked out of the store Mary said,"We have lots of wrapping to do when we get home." She carried him all of her shopping bags over to the car. He got in and waited for her to be done with loading her bags onto the back seats. Then she was in the car and said,"Off we go." She pulled out and drove back home...
