Morningdove twitched her tail impatiently. "Dreamheart, hurry up! We're going hunting this morning, as we agreed only last night!"
"I don't remember agreeing to anything of the kind," the younger warrior grumbled.
Chuckling, Morningdove meowed playfully, "Not my fault if you have a bad memory!"
Laughing together, they walked out of the camp, and through the territory. A chilly morning breeze ruffled their fur, and Morningdove shivered.
"Bit of chill in the air?" Dreamheart asked nonchalantly.
The other she-cat sent her a scathing glare. "If you weren't such a puffball, you could feel it yourself!"
"Oh, I'm a puffball now?"
"Of course! You look like a little cloud with legs!
"And you're so attractive, I'm sure."
"I don't look like a cloud, at least."
"My cloudliness is helpful. I don't freeze in leaf-bare."
"Cloudliness?"
The two shared a laugh.
Morningdove scented the air. "Mm, mouse. I'll go this way, you head that way. Meet back here in a little bit."
The two went their seperate ways. Dreamheart caught a rabbit, and then a thrush. Morningdove caught a mouse.
"And see who returns with more prey, oldbones!"
"Oh, quiet you." Morningdove flicked her with her tail. "Let's go back to camp."
