, heh heh, I've been sleeping since... ...a long time ago. The question is,..what're you two doing..?" The white-and-silver tom questioningly meowed while smirking. Rainstripe quickly glanced at Sandhorse, then looked back at her former mentor. "Ehh, just ..chatting, I guess." Haloheart grinned in response and nodded while turning away. Surrrrree they are. It's SO obvious she loves him. That's probably why they both got so mad at me. I interrupted their lovey-dovey conversation. Ah well. Heh heh. He was odd like that sometimes.[/ul]

((Sorry this is SOOO overdue. DX> And it's a crappy post. |U *headceiling*)) Haloheart turned toward the pair. Rainstripe smiled slightly. "Mm, ...Fine, I s'pose. Sandhorse and I were talking about possibly doing some mentoring together, since we both have apprentices now." She turned to Sandhorse while giving the any-idea-how-to-get-rid-of-him look on. Haloheart's curiosity continued to grow with her we're-together responses. They both really seem to like each other. I definitely did like her at one point, but I don't now. It's interesting how love changes through time.[/ul]

Actually, Sandhorse was having a hard time remembering exactly what the topic of conversation had been before the deputy interrupted, and shot Rainstripe a semi-confused look. She seemed to want to get rid of Haloheart, but... Why? Haloheart was her friend--her closest one, as far as the tan tabby knew. This thought sent a small pang through him, and he looked away quickly, deciding it best to just keep his eye on the water.[/ul] (Sandhorse, you PHAIL.)

Rainstripe glared at Haloheart. Can't you take a freakin' hint?! BEAT IT. Leave us alone, moron. Even though he was the deputy, she had permission to speak foully about him in her head. The large tom gave a T_T look. "I guess I'd better go, then. You guys seem to want to be left alone, anyways. Don't stay up too long, warriors." No matter how ridiculous of a response that was, it had the desired effect.[/ul]

. Of course, Sandhorse felt a bit bad about being HAPPY about this fact, but...He couldn't explain it. He had talked more with the beautiful she-cat tonight more than he ever had before, and yet she still wasn't sick of him. It was comforting.[/ul]
