A Twoleg walked past. Bobo came to a road that cut right through the sidewalk. "Now we're going to have to wait until that sign over there turns white. Then no cars can go by. It's best when another Twoleg is going to cross too, because the drivers in the cars won't wait for a couple of cats." [/ul]

Lorelei nodded, and crouched down to wait. After a few seconds had ticked by, she asked, "Is your friend Monty a nice cat?" After another few seconds, she added, "Like you?" [/blockquote]

He smiled dumbly. "Even though at times he acts like a total dumb-bird, he's a nice guy overall... Like me." He gave another dumb smile. There was a small click and the light changed. Bobo dashed across the road with one eye behind him, watching Lorelei. [/ul]

Lorelei followed Bobo, racing across the street. She didn't really like roads all that much- there was far too much of a chance of being hit. But despite that chance, she made it across the road safely, and stopped at the edge of the street. "Okay," she said, "Where to now?"

He had forgotten where they were going completely. Then he remembered. "Oh! Uh," He looked around. "Uh, this way." He led the way down the sidewalk. After a while they came to a parking lot with a building. "That's it. We have to sneak around to the back though." Bobo started to skirt the parking lot where cars were parked. [/ul]

Lorelei followed, supressing a giggle. This was fun, as she had predicted. Sneaking around the cars was easier for her than dashing among them. She padded along, head held high.

(Woah, I haven't posted here in a long time. XD ) He jumped up the stairs and nosed open the door. "For some reason they never lock these doors." Then Bobo led the way inside. There was a soft red carpet on the floor that had hardly been used before, since that was the exit incase of a fire and there had never been a fire, hence no use of the emergency exit and trampling the carpet. It was dimly lit. About two foxlengths away to the left was an opening to a dark lit room. It slanted upward with many seats. The seats were to the right of the opening. To the left of the opening was a huge screen with moving pictures of people and writing. "It hasn't started yet," he whispered. [/ul]

Lorelei, who had followed Bobo through the opened door, was smiling with excitement. She was going to see a movie...! Wow, quiet little her, seeing a movie. What a story...
She walked forward to stand next to Bobo. The scents from the theater were stronger here. There was the warm scent of popcorn, something she recognized from movie fests that her Twoleg's kits were fond of having, and then there was the scent of soft pretzels, and sugary snacks galore. Lots of food here.
"Should we go in?" she asked Bobo softly. She had never been to a movie here before...

He made a XD face. There was only two other twolegs inside, and they were sitting next to each other. One tom and one she-.... she-..... Well, she wasn't a cat.... She was a she-person. They were chatting excitedly, the tom's arm wrapped around the she-person. What were they actually called? he wondered. Boys and Girls? Guys and Gals? Men and Women? Well, whatever.Bobo trotted over to the front row of seats. "Look here," he mewed. He pawed at the seat, that really wasn't a seat; yet. "You have to open it up to sit on it. I have no idea why they have to make them so complicated to sit on. Maybe it's so they take up less space. I don't know. But to open them..." He stood on his hind paws, his front paws holding onto the seat. "You have to pull it down, like this." He brought it down. "You have to sit on it right away, otherwise..." Bobo let the seat go and it whipped out of reach to make a thud noise as it whacked the back of the seat. Bobo went back to all fours. "Now, let's look around for some food. If the person already cleaned everything up, then we can just go to the food stand for some fresh food. But you'd have to be careful out there, cause it would be easy for someone to spot us and out in the cold we'd go. They'd probably make sure that all of the doors were locked too." He then started up and down the isles, looking for scraps of food. Bingo. Bobo saw an overturned box of popcorn. Mm, butter. My favorite next to cheesy. The Theater always had to most buttery popcorn, next to the popcorn at the Race Track, of course. I'll have to take Lorelei to the Races next time... At least, in the summer, that is, cause they only have the Races in Greenleaf. "Hey, pist! Check it out!" He hurried over to his prize, looking back for Lorelei. [/ul]

Lorelei bounded after Bobo, trying to stay out of sight of the Twolegs. She darted over to the spilled popcorn, and sniffed it with delight.
"Mm," she murmured. "It smells delicious." Delicately, she nibbled on the edge of a piece, and blinked. It was salty, and then... what was it called again... buttery, and crunchy... they were really good. No wonder her Twolegs were so fond of it.
"It is delicious," she added in delight.

He began eating vigorously, crunching and munching away. His ears twitched at the sound of the girl and boy twolegs that he'd seen earlier moving around. He looked up, but they weren't coming towards them, so he relaxed. Yuck! he thought at what he'd seen. Twolegs are always so weird. Why in the world would they make contact with each other like that?!"Heh, don't worry. They're just "making out", or atleast, that's what my friend Monty calls it. They're not coming for us." He dipped his head back down into the buttery popcorn. [/ul]

Lorelei twitched her ears, and nodded. "Twolegs are just so weird, you know?"
She ate another piece of popcorn, with all of her delicate manners. She was sort of that way when eating.
"What kind of movie is this, do you know?" Lorelei asked. "Or are we just going to watch and see?"
Not that she really cared that much- as Bobo had pointed out, they could always go and find another movie if they didn't like this one.

He dashed away, past the isles over to the door on the opposite wall of the emergency exit. When he got to the door, he looked to his left, and the room there was lit better. He went in that direction. Bobo came to the end of the hall and looked both ways. To his right was a very wide hall with doors to the rooms of other movies. At the end of the hall was a see through door. He looked to his left and saw a few other doors and then the concession stand. No one was around. He went out into the hall and looked up above the door that he had just come out of and read the sign. T..H...E....R...............E.T...U..R.N.......O.....F..........T..H..........E......................B.....A.............B...E.....S The Return of the Babes? What the heck kind of a movie is that? he thought. He went down the hall away from the concession stand and read the sign above that door. T....H..E......T.A...............L...............E....S................O.......F............C......A..T.........W.................O...........................M......A...................N The Tales of Catwoman? Cool! Bobo hurried back to where Lorelei was. "Hey, pist! This movie is gonna suck. There's a better movie next to us about a female twoleg who's also a cat!" [/ul]
