Snowstar opened her eyes. Enough time had passed she thought, so now, it was time...
Hollystar sat down quietly beneath the Highrock and began grooming her fur. Not much was there to do. Everything was all organized, for now, and the Freshkill pile was at its peak. Nothing was there to do except to lay around and get fat. Maybe a nice dip in the river, Hollystar thought with a smile.
Snowstar approached her sister eagerly. That could have been me... she thought. To spice things up a bit, just to do something fun for once, she rushed into the shadows of the Highrock. She crept quietly towards Hollystar, then hissed softly into her ear.
Hollystar was taken aback. She looked around, but barely anyone was in camp. They weren't anywhere near her, but there had been a noise that sounded right into her ear.
Snowstar smiled, and cackled silently. "Hollystar," she whispered. "Hollystar, I'm back."
Hollystar's eyes grew wide as she looked all around herself. It had been a voice. Then she realized, that it had been a voice that she reconized. "Snowstar?" she whispered back.
"Yes," Snowstar whispered faintly.
"Snowstar, what are you doing here?" Hollystar demanded madly, but not loud enough for anyone to hear her. For a moment she thought she was crazy, talking to thin air and thinking that Snowstar was talking to her. She had been banished! How could she be here, but not be able to be seen? Has she died or something?
Snowstar held her breath for a moment to stop herself from bursting with laughter. Then she got serious. "I've come... For you!" As quick as lightning Snowstar jumped at the body of Hollystar. Being inside her was like being alive again, because Hollystar was her sister, and they shared a bond.
Hollystar was taken off guard, and all of a sudden it felt like a wave was washing over her, trying to drown her. It kept pushing her under, and under, but she fought back. She reached the surface again, but once again another wave washed over her, and this time she was tired, because she had fought so hard the last time. She let it take over her, and everything went blank...
Snowstar breathed her first breath of real air. She had done it! "Yes!" she she aloud, but felt embarrassed because she had said it a little too loud.
She made a dash for the entrance. It felt so good to run! For the heck of it, she purposefully tripped and fell. It felt good to get hurt! Her limbs were pounding, but she didn't care. She ran for the water and jumped in. Water felt so good! She began lapping it all up. It tasted good too! "Wait," she meowed to herself. FRESHKILL!
Snowstar raced back into camp and grabbed a mouse. She gobbled it up in a matter of a few seconds, then grabbed a fish. It vanished a few seconds later. It felt good to be full! And everything tasted so wonderfully!
(To be continued in StarClan, because until the DemonClan spirits give up the body they're possessing, the possessed leaders go to either StarClan or, if they've been bad recently, DemonClan...)
