Rae was sleeping on a chair, where sunlight was pouring through the window.
Suddenly, a Twoleg walked in, yowling something to someone who was outside. Rae woke up with a start, hissing.
"Hello, Rae-cat," one of the Twolegs said. Rae gave him an annoyed look. He came over, and scratched her ears. Rae jumped off of the chair, and walked into the kitchen.
In there, a Twoleg was taking things out of bags. Rae jumped onto a stool and watched with curiousity as the Twoleg unpacked "groceries". Listening to their conversation, Rae discovered that the "groceries" were for a "new year's party". She rolled her eyes, and returned to her chair in the other room.
As Rae closed her eyes, she muttered, "Twolegs and their nonsense."
